When it comes to quotable teen comedy icons, few, if any can spout life philosophy, general badassery and epic "fuck off"s to the establishment like Wooderson, the star of the show in Dazed and Confused. Sporting a sweet ass 'stache, Wooderson is responsible for proclaiming his love for high school girls and workin' for the city while the rest of his peers have theoretically "moved on" to bigger and better things. Yet, Wooderson is sincere in his ways of guiding high school students and showing them that success isn't written in a paycheque and pride isn't something that's to be taken lightly. In lesser films, Wooderson could be seen as the villain, but Richard Linklater portrays him as he is: a free thinking, hard working spirit who lives for the minute and doesn't let too much get under his skin. Wooderson has earned his place as our Honorary Graduate his way - the only way he and B.A.L.L.S.. Academy knows.
